Anxiety in the Age of Chaos was conceived as an album to break away from previous efforts which have focused heavily on synthesizers. The album as a whole was an act of catharsis in the chaotic world we now inhabit. Electric string instruments were used at the core of the production of the album, specifically guitar, electric cello, and electric upright bass. The last piece, the "The New Terror of Technology" represents a convergence of previous PraxisCat albums involving modular synthesizers, and the string instrument tracks appearing on this album.

This album was originally released on Histamine Tapes HT011 as a cassette tape which is now sold out. They did the cover art. histaminetapes.bandcamp.com
